of TetriNet is in production. Below is his announcement:

Wow! It's great people are still
playing TetriNET after I released it over a year ago!
Just wanted to let everyone know
there WILL be a new version soon enough, and it is not discontinued. I've
just had a loong break from it, but have been working on a new version
for a while. If you have any suggestions for next version, you can email
them to [email protected].

Since then, he has mentioned
a few changes that will take place. The game will no longer be called "TetriNet"
since the Tetris people claim copyright problems and would take legal action
towards him. The new name is a secret for now, but it has already been
decided. Other changes will include a new special(s), different console
layout, cheat-protection, no colours, a different ranking system, and various
bug fixes. There is no set date of when the new version is supposed to
be released but St0rmcat assures that it will be soon. |
